When Is My Season?

Is. 30:18 'But GOD'S not finished. He¹s waiting around to be gracious to you.He¹s gathering strength to show mercy to you. GOD takes the time to do everything right. Those who wait around for him are the blessed ones.'

The Message God is not in time. God does not operate in the the realm that we operate in. There is really not a set time that God will show up in our situations.I know our church choirs like to sing songs like, "He's right on time" or "God is a right now God" and all that stuff, but those songs are not always correct. We must learn to stop singing stuff that does not make sense on Sunday mornings. Just because someone recorded it does not mean it's the Word of God. But that's another EX Word! (we'll deal with that later). But right now, we must deal with this season and time issue. God is faithful and he does what he says. But God is not always going to be on time or be right now! You see, there will be times when he won't show up. Face the facts. There will be times when he makes you wait. You may miss your due date, you may have to take the late charge, you may have to miss this months bills, you may have to deal with those creditors. We are always trying to make God show up in our situations, but many of them are solely our fault and God is making us wait! Patience! This is teaching you not to do it again. This is teaching you not to buy those clothes, or go to those places you couldn't afford. This is teaching you not to date the wrong person, or sleep around before marriage. Patience! God makes us wait sometimes and he will not be "Right Now" or "ON Time" all of the time. I know we are living in the day when the preachers and teachers are always talking about your season! But God's seasons are apart of his own sovereignty.Isn't it funny that, when something sounds good to us, we will flock to conferences, concerts, and mega ministries because we want the good stuff they are saying? "God is gonna do this". "Your breakthrough, your season, your next level, etc". has clouded the reality of serving God and now most folks want God because of what he will do for them. We want a breakthrough, we want out of debt, we want finances, we want our season of blessings! But the reality of it all is, STOP MAKING DECISIONS THAT ARE GETTING YOU BOUND AND YOU WON'T NEED A BREAKTHROUGH! God is more concerned about your daily walk with him. Not a quick fix from a conference speaker! Most of the speakers have gone through hell 80% of their lives and now they are on the other side of it. Now they are rich, driving fancy cars, and living it up. There is nothing wrong with prosperity, but sometimes people in those positions lose their sensitivity to people that are waiting on God. So, they preach that you can be like them and make it seem like it can happen over night. But reality says, you will have to wait on God. And it may be a while. God is not in our time and is working things out on your behalf in his own way.His ways are not our ways. He does things differently. I know you heard that you are about to step into your season of blessings, but God is not confined to seasons. And your season is when you decide to obey him. Your season is when you decide to stop living in sin and start representing him. Your season is when you accept the things of God and wait to hear from him. Your season is when you decide that you are going to do it his way and not your own.Blessing will come continually, not just in seasons, but you must first learn to wait.
