Be anxious for nothing!

by Christoph J

My testimony is that of having the ability to face life's realities. When I was younger, I'd take a lot things to heart and allow it to effect my current situation. I struggled with worrying about a lot of things, knowing full well that worrying doesn't change anything but only makes things worst. For a long time, I worried about not knowing what I wanted to do in life as a career and as a passion. I came close to being depressed about it because I like to plan ahead and be able to work towards a goal. I would stress myself out about it. However, God told me to leave my future in His hands.

I thank God for giving me the courage to chase after my dreams without worrying about failing or worrying about friends and family disapproving of my decisions.

I look at life totally differently now. I appreciate the downfalls in life because I know now that they are here for us to win by learning from them. Life is great when you live it for God.

Yeah, Don. I was like a natural born worrier. Comin' out out of college not, not knowing exactly what path to take kinda got to me but I took it to God. Now look where he led me. I'm in Korea with Natarsha bringing my dreams to reality.

Thanks dude!

Wow yall I was gonna touch on worrying in a post. My mom is a worry wart. What I use to say,,,
"no need to pray if you are just going to worry and no need to worry if you are going to pray" there is no room for both.
Thats great Chris God always takes care of His own!

Enjoyed this post. Sometimes we tend to get in our own way and hinder our own progress. With Christ all things are possible. Look up!

*BTW That picture is POTENT!

Don, you bring up a good point. Having courage is a major factor in stepping out on faith and pursuing those things that are "out of the box", but that is exactly why God called us to be a peculiar people and do those things as if they were.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen.

Chris, like you stated in your title, Be anxious for nothing...I am reminded that God may not come when you want him, but he is always on time. We have to learn how to be patient and wait on his timing and learn to accept that the plan and will he has for our life is far more greater than the life we can dream up.

I am so proud of you. Keep doing God's work and everything your heart desire's will come to past in HIS timing. It is already so!
