This game of life is two steps forward and one step back. Relationships have always been my weakness and the biggest cause of my back stepping. I tend to settle for less than I deserve, reduce my value to diminish the loneliness and I lower my standards to subdue the pain. I know people will not believe that there's a perfect match, but I've found Him. I've known Him for awhile but, I'm new to this "serious" relationship and hopefully soon people will see how he loves me from the smile he puts on my face to the encouragement he gives me.
There's only one man worth trying for, crying for, and dying for and only because he's done all these things for me! No, more settling, no more searching, no more stressing, my man doesn't put me through all that. He provides for my every need and when he sees fit, he caters to my wants. He sees past the moment and has a plan for the future. His love is unconditional and first and foremost He sees us as friends! He's never unsure, nor is he afraid. He never leads me on and never breaks my heart. He's a provider, nurturer, leader, and a Man of God who isn't afraid of commitment. I couldn't have prayed for a better companion! He's the best and I wouldn't trade HIM for the WORLD! He completes me. He's the one! I can say, this with confidence because he doesn't change his mind on a whim or get cold feet. He says I'm a treasure and he says that for a man to find me is for him to have found a good thing! He's told me to cast all my cares upon Him. I couldn't ask for more. He LOVES ME.....for me! Oh, and to top it off you'd never guess who His father is! Or maybe you would?
Where would I be without my Jesus? I never want to find out...I'm holding on to this one!

Relationships used to be my downfall. Always giving more of myself than the other person. It wasn't until I realized what I needed could not be found in man, but in God alone. Nice post!
Great post! This will help a lot people. Too many people think they need to be in a relationship to feel whole. Good stuff, Terre.
